The festival is led 100% by volunteers.

Funds are raised through individual donations, corporate donations and grants. Food vendors and mercantile vendors pay a fee to participate in the festival. History and heritage groups receive a donation from Range Resources. Reenactors and historic demonstrators are paid for their time. Entertainers and musicians are paid for their services. The festival's largest expenses include stage/sound, tables/chairs, security, music and insurance.
